The Ohio Cheese Guild

The Guild is dedicated to the support and promotion of producers of farmstead, artisan, and all fine cheeses in the State of Ohio. To achieve its general purpose, the Corporation has identified the following specific objectives:

 

(a) Encourage excellence in farmstead, artisan and specialty cheeses produced in Ohio;

 

(b) Provide activities that will promote and sustain cheesemaking as a craft and livelihood within Ohio;

 

(c) Assist small scale cheese makers with marketing and distribution initiatives fostering greater access to the broad range of buyers (wholesalers, distributors, food brokers, retailers, chefs, institutions, and consumers); and

 

(d) Represent the interests of members of the Corporation before government agencies and the media.
