Trustees also authorized the university to enter into a 20-year joint use agreement with Tech Town New Market, Inc., a nonprofit agency in Dayton. Tech Town Ohio Research Center was allocated $250,000 and will utilize the funds to design and build-out space in building three of the Tech Town Technology Park. The park will support the application, commercialization, and convergence of cutting-edge technologies and collaborations between the Air Force Research Laboratory and non-defense organizations, including Ohio State. The organization has committed to providing classroom, conferencing, administrative or other education space to Ohio State students and faculty, offering close proximity to the Air Force Research Laboratory for the term of the agreement.
